How to obtain non-repayable loans
With the economic crisis, more and more Italians are unable to find employment. In order to encourage economic recovery, various concessions and non-repayable loans have been activated for the unemployed.
These are products which obviously have the purpose of facilitating the creation of new entrepreneurial or self-employment activities. The granting of these loans can take place both by public and private bodies. However, the latter is a rather rare situation.
In most cases, non-repayable loans for unemployed people are granted through European funds. Funds that the EU provides in favor of Italy and which are then entrusted to local authorities (such as the Regions) or Lite Lender.
And it is precisely the non-repayable loans for unemployed managed by Lite Lender that we are going to talk about in this study.
The first thing to clarify when it comes to unsecured loans for unemployed people is how they work. These are subsidized loans that do not provide for any repayment obligation for the beneficiary. In other words, the person who obtains them is not called upon to repay the principal or the interest.
In principle, however, the loans for unemployed managed by Lite Lender are not completely non-refundable. In fact, these are loans characterized by a non-refundable portion while the remaining money must be repaid. In this regard, the interest rates applied are subsidized and often these are even zero-interest loans.
But let’s see in detail how the non-repayable loans for unemployed managed by Lite Lender work and who can get them.
Unemployed non-repayable loans
Let’s start by talking about unemployed non-repayable loans granted under the Finance project. It is an incentive program designed to stimulate the birth of activities by young people under 30.
Although the granting of non-repayable sums is not envisaged, Finance loans are zero rate loans. They are aimed exclusively at NEETs. In other words, only the unemployed who are not engaged in study or training courses have access to credit.
The amounts granted range from a minimum of 5 thousand to a maximum of 50 thousand USD. The amortization plan can extend for a maximum of 7 years and no interest is expected.
Projects active in the personal services sector, as well as those relating to environmental services, ICT services and tourism, can be financed. Initiatives active in the sectors of production of goods and trade can also be financed.
Non-repayable loans, subsidies for businesses in the south
Speaking of non-repayable loans for unemployed, it is also necessary to refer to the recent Law Decree which provides for urgent provisions to support the economy in the South. Among the measures included in the aforementioned provision we find Rest in the South.
The new incentive plan which, among the various interventions, provides for the granting of non- refundable sums. Children under the age of 35 who have started a business or want to start it benefit from it.
As regards the sums that can be financed, the non-repayable loans for unemployed Resto al Sud provide for the granting of sums of up to 40 thousand USD per entrepreneur. If a company submits the application, the maximum amount that can be financed is set at 200 thousand USD.
Contributions are non -refundable for a portion equal to 35%. The remaining 65% are expected to be granted in the form of a zero-interest personal loan. For these latter sums, the reimbursement can extend for a maximum period of 8 years. The first 24 months are pre-amortized, consequently the beneficiary will only have to repay the interest.
In addition to the non-repayable loans for unemployed 2017 granted by Lite Lender, we also mention the regional calls for access to facilities to start a business. social development paths.
Only young people who have successfully completed the training course have access to the facilities. Grants are paid for only one business project for each beneficiary.
As regards the financed expenses, the expenses incurred between September 1, 2014 and December 31, 2023 are eligible for non-refundable loans for unemployed Friuli Venezia Giulia. Expenditure which must however concern the purchase of goods.
These grants are paid out in the form of de minimis aid. The maximum amount that can be financed is set at 75% of the eligible expenses. In any case, the non-refundable contribution cannot exceed the 100 thousand USD threshold.
Concessions for female entrepreneurship
Also very interesting is the call from the Lazio Region for the innovation of female entrepreneurship. Small and medium-sized companies and micro-enterprises can apply. Realities that may already be established or that will have to be established within 45 days from access to the grant.
To obtain contributions, the companies that apply must be set up as a company or individually. Women who work as freelancers can apply.
To obtain non-refundable loans, the initiatives for which the contribution is requested must be developed in the Lazio region. The money awarded varies according to the size of the eligible expenses. 70% of these expenses will be disbursed, up to a maximum amount of 30 thousand USD as de minimis.
